The Philippines 2017 team have safely arrived into Manila today:
"First day, boots on the ground. The heart's excited, for the mission at hand!"
Love from The BLi Team x
Thank you all so much for all your love and support for the Nepal mission trip. The team are all safely back to their home countries for nearly a month and are so excited to share what we have witness with you all.
We can’t believe it has already been almost 4 weeks since the day we arrived in the Philippines!
Thank you for being patient with us! Since coming back to the UK and Australia, the team has been working hard blogging on everyday happenings on the mission trip. I hope you are as excited as we are to re-live the days in the Philippines through the upcoming blogs. If you’re keen to keep up with our daily musings from the mission trip, come back this Sunday (16th September) for the release of our first daily Mission Blog.
Thank you all for your endless prayers, encouragements and messages that covered this trip. We’ll be posting the daily blogs soon and we can’t wait to share with you all the amazing, God-orchestrated events that transpired. We hope that when you read these you’ll feel like you were there with us, experiencing the same joy and giving praise to the One who made all things possible... the ONE who healed the deaf and blind man ~*hint hint*~
BLi x Philippines 2018 - We Arrived Safely!
This is the second time we are here as BLi and the first time for many of the team.
We have just met all of the team this morning and it's safe to say we are all gel-ing well already!
We are truly anticipating what God will do this week and as the hashtag in the hotel says "happy moments". There is abundant joy in serving the Lord and we hope and pray it will be countless fruitful and happy moments.
Today was supposed to be a more 'low key' day. A relaxing day with more seeing than doing. However as I quickly found out it was far from that; it was a day which produced much food for thought and reflection. Find out how Day 9 in Phnom Penh unfolded.
Cambodia 2015: Day 7 - Solid Rock
An exciting second day today at Solid Rock with a morning service run for adults and children. Lots of energy, laughter and fun. In the afternoon, Professor Ningwen and Dr Castro performed surgery to remove a tumour from a patient who was examined at the medical clinic which took place the day before. The patient was suffering from pain with this tumour for 2 years.
