Updates from our Goat Programme:
With all your support, BLi started a sustainable Goat Programme with our partner in Nepal at the start of 2021. The programme trained 6 local families in the region from the lowest income group with farming and entrepreneur skills through the pandemic, when income streams were heavily impacted.
18 months into the programme, we are pleased to share that the average increase in livestock has been from 3 to 7, with one particular family seeing their initial 3 goats multiplying to 9.
We are continually supporting these families and are staying on course to help them grow their farming operations. Thank you all for all your financial and prayer support for the programme.
How to pray for the programme:
1. Protection for the goats from diseases like pneumonia.
2. Fruitfulness of the goat in reproducing. (Average birth is 1-3 kids/year)
3. Wisdom for BLi and our Nepali partner in managing the programme.
4. Provision to build bigger goat sheds for the families to house the livestock.
